In the manner of George Hepplewhite, this chair has scrolling arms and turned and fluted front legs beautifully carved in dense mahogany. We have left this piece "in the frame" to allow the buyer to view the originality of the chair and to upholster it in the fashion of their own choosing. 970mm high, 610mm wide and 620mm deep English, circa 1770. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
