Circa 1800, exceptional quality carved oak French armoire. With two foliate carved doors and a fluted plinth in centre. It has a well carved frieze with foliate decorations and a rectangular central panel with deep vine and grape carvings. All surmounted by a finely carved cornice with nine separate types of carving. The base has a shaped apron drawer with a fine floral carving and all standing on a shaped feet.

Size 230 cm high x 170 cm wide x 60 cm deep.
