A beautiful, circa 1800, George III high back box settle. This piece is constructed of pine and elm, with its planked back design, side scrolled arms. It has two large lift up seats, with box compartments, making this piece extremely versatile for boots, shoes etc ideal for a large country kitchen, hallway, or period property. This piece is in good condition for its age, but as you can appreciate, being over 200 years old, it has received some wear and tear during its life. However, still an extremely functional and useful piece of antique furniture. Please note that the cushions are not included. ref 00169
