A magnificent piece of period country antique furniture this well made and highly unusual pitch pine box settle features five panels to back section, large and well supported arms, and a double lift up seat providing a large storage area for boots, shoes etc. It features matching panels to the front, and is in beautiful condition for its age, circa 1800. This George III settle is ideal for any period property or country interior, and would grace any large hallway or kitchen.
