An unusual George III period mahogany music or reading stand. The octagonal shaped top has a removable book rest which allows the stand to be used as a wine table. The underside having a brass catch and angle adjustment fitting. The turned mahogany column has a brass collar screw which allows height adjustment and this table is raised on outswept legs with boxwood stringing and applied boxwood patrae. Condition - Very good.
