George II Serpentine Front Double Fold-over Table
Circa 1740. George II serpentine front double fold over table. The shaped front and sided top in figured Spanish mahogany opening to polished surface with raised edges and both further lifting to a beautifully fitted interior, all with original brass hinges and out folding back legs. The crossbanded frieze with a single drawer showing the label from the sale at Brockington House, Herefordshire. All supported on cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees and ball and claw feet.
