George I Walnut Mirror with Brass Sconces %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Circa early 1700s, George I walnut wall mirror. The shaped, bevelled edge plate is surrounded by an embossed gilt slip within a moulded walnut frame. It has a shaped pediment containing a cut out of gilded Prince of Wales feathers and the base has carved gilded brackets with later brass sconces.
