Geometric Marquetry Bombe Commode Chest
Lovely proportions to this 3/4 size French louis xv style geometric marquetry bombe commode chest of drawers with original brass mounts and Cararra marble top.
Very decorative piece and in super condition with all three drawers running smoothly.
A good storage piece if you need it to be, but also a fabulous piece to look at with these fantastic deep curves or "bombe" front and sides.
Measuring:
32 1/4” or 82cm high
40 1/2” or 103cm wide
22” or 56cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
