This exquisite little lowboy, with its gorgeous shaped apron and generous cabriole legs, has three oak lined drawers, one long and two short. The handles are right for the piece and appear to be original.

This lowboy was taken from a farmhouse in Cumbria where it had stood for 250 years. It looked, when purchased, as though it had never been polished, but a healthy application of wax has brought out its natural glow.

This style of lowboy was made for 70-80 years, but we think a date of circa 1750 will be very close
