Gentlemans Edwardian Oak Armchair or Desk Chair
A substantial antique Edwardian oak open armchair or desk chair. The rectangular carved oak back upholstered in blue velvet above a stuff-over seat. With generous turned and fluted arm supports, standing on carved and turned front legs and sabre legs to the back. With label: “Christopher Pratt & Sons Cabinet Makers and Upholsterers carpet and Bedding Warehousemen Bradford”.

The upholstery is faded and worn, and sagging, but in useable condition – would benefit reupholstery. The frame is in good condition with good colour and patina with wear and marks commensurate with age. Fairly solid, a little give to the front legs.
