French walnut kingsize Louis xv style bed
Great example of a full 5' kingsize French Louis xv style bed in great condition, supplied with the supporting box base to hold a standard size mattress of 5' x 6'6''
Lovely consistent tone to the quarter veneered walnut panels and solid carved walnut frame.
Well carved throughout and also has its original pair of decorative side rails, joining the headboard to the footboard.
The supporting base sits within a supported framework at the side rails level, so it is hidden from view mostly and you can see under the bed ( rather than a full divan base sitting on the floor ).
Good condition throughout, great proportions and warm walnut tone.
Supplied with the supporting box base ( but not the mattress ).
Measurements approx:
Headboard 140cm high
Footboard 90cm high
