Very smart late 19th.c. French walnut bookcase c.1890. Two long glazed doors fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (depth 13″). Elegant uncluttered design featuring a tall cornice with crisp mouldings and a gilded ormolu eagle at the centre. Canted front corners continued on the plith and raised mouldings around the glass door panels. Solid walnut sides and oak groundwork to the doors. Oak shelves and backboards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
Note this bookcase disassembles for delivery making ideal for rooms with awkward access.
