Good looking mid 19th.c. French walnut bookcase c.1840. Single long glazed door, fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (depth 12½”), plus a single drawer in the base. Moulded cornice and door surround with symmetrically arranged walnut veneers, continued on the drawer front. Brass drawer knobs and shield-shaped escutcheon. Shaped top to the glazed panel with crisply carved acanthus detail. Solid walnut sides and moulded plith. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
