Circa 1880, French ormolu mounted burr walnut occasional table. The shaped top in the finest figured walnut, with cross banded and ormolu (gilded bronze) mounts on the fore-edges. The shaped frieze with ormolu banding contains foliate ormolu plaques and leads on to shaped cabriole supports. These are decorated and surmounted by caryatid figures with ormolu banding extending to the ormolu sabots.
