Very elegent French oak double bed c.1900. Tall headboard and foot with lovely curved sides, both in solid oak with moulded panels and carved with flower garlands and a beautiful laurel leaf detail to the edges. Solid oak side rails with moulded and carved detail. Raised on short fluted turned and tapering legs at the head and foot. To take a standard 4’6″ x 6’3″ double bed base and mattress (internal dimensions 55″ x 83″). Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Please note this is part of a suite of matching antique furniture comprising double bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table, side cabinet with drawers and wardrobe – each available separately.
