French Marble Top Gilt Console Table
Well proportioned French Louis XV style wall mounted gilt console table with its original Carrara marble top, circa 1880 and in super condition.
Wonderful deep sweeping cabriole leg and very well detailed frieze mouldings.
The moulded edge marble top is in good original condition and contrasts perfectly with the gilding. Sits very well with a mid size gilt mirror as shown (as an example, not included with the console!).
Supplied with two wall mounting brackets to hold it securely.
Measuring:
35 1/4 inches or 89.5 cm high
37 1/4 inches or 94.5 cm wide
13 1/2 inches or 34.5 cm marble depth Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
