French Mahogany Commode Chest Of Drawers
Good quality French mahogany commode chest of drawers with original marble top, circa 1860,
Lovely figured mahogany veneers to the front running through the drawers and the frame.
Great storage piece with 5 drawers, one of which is a hidden drawer in the plinth and the top drawer in three compartments.
There are two keys to use as drawer pulls, this is typically French and totally original...no handles, but if you would rather handles, we can discuss fitting something suitable...please get in touch.
The original marble top is in good condition and a good colour, grey and white fleck.
These are a good proportion chest of drawers, often used as bedroom pieces, but also as hall / living room pieces as they are quite decorative and look great with a pair of lamps and a mirror hanging above!

height 94 cm x 128cm wide x 57 cm deep,
