A good size late C19th French gilt "margin" frame gilt overmantle mirror with typical angled mirror glass and the main mirror glass all being original.
The frame itself is very well decorated and moulded, although it has been restored and over gilded at some point in its life, so it has lost the bright gilt finish and now has a more toned down gilt bronze colouring with a "matt" finish.
This has been reflected in the price, although it is still a fabulous mirror!
