Antique quality C1860 French gilt and ebonised overmantle wall mirror.
This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character. Great patinated frame which has only had minor losses (some charming aging and cracking to the finishes) over the years and looks great.
A rare find, that would look amazing in the right location. Absolutely charming, with lots of majesty, but not too large.
Light oxidation and minor shadowing to the mirrored glass (as most customers would want to see).
Overall maximum dimensions: 116cmH x 71cmW x 12cmD.
Mirrored glass (max) size 79cmH x 52cmW.
In good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, cracks (not to glass), scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with antique furniture. Some historic extinct woodworm holes to the back which have been treated for good measure. Some minor losses and touching up to the frame.
