French Empire style round marble top table
Very decorative French Empire style round marble top table on a gilt brass and bronze effect side table in great condition, circa 1920.
The gilt highlights contrasting with the bronze effect beautifully, the rams heads and hoof feet.
The Sienna marble top is fin good condition and is held in place with the fixed brass acorn finial you can see to the centre…certainly something a bit different and of great quality.
Measuring:
28 inches or 71 cm high
16 1/2 inches or 42 cm diameter Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
