French Empire console table with black marble
Lovely quality French mahogany Empire console with brass mounts and the original mercury mirror plate to the back. Circa 1840
Great condition console table, very decorative and useful with the two shelf surfaces below...ideal as a drinks cabinet perhaps!
Full width drawer to the freize and its original black marble top.
This could be a good option for use as a dining room server, hall table, or just for a decorative console table with a gilt mirror above, pair of lamps and a pair of armchairs to flank.
Slightly wider than the typical console antique tables, so this gives you good proportions and stands very well.
Measuring:
37 3/4'' or 96cm high
48'' or 122cm wide
17 1/4'' or 44cm deep
Space for the top shelf is 11''
Space for the bottom shelf is 11 1/2''
