French Bombe Commode
Outstanding example of a 19th century French bombe commode.
This fine quality quarter veneered chest with original marble top has two small drawers over two long drawers ( all oak lined ) along with a central small "secret" drawer and wonderful ormalu mounts.
minor wear and tear commensurate with age and use but overall, this fabulous chest of drawers is in great original condition with a wonderful rich colour and patina, it really needs to be seen as the photographs do not do it the justice this quality piece deserves.
