Framed Gerald Brockhurst Signed Etching 'Phemie'
Artist - Gerald Leslie Brockhurst (1890-1978), an English painted and etcher well-known for his portraits. Member of the Royal Academy.
Title - Phemie
Medium - Etching
Details - Lovely etching. Portrait. Dates from c.1924. Signed in pencil by the artist underneath the picture. Professionally mounted and framed in a more modern frame. Attached to the back of the frame is an old gallery label with the picture details on - this was attached to the original frame, but was cut out and re-attached when the picture was re-framed.
Condition - Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age. There is some very minor discolouration.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Image - 7cm by 10cm
