Influenced by the masters of the Spanish Golden Age and in particular Francisco de Zurbarán, he refers to it in particular by his use of light and shadow. He is considered to be one of the main members of the "classical modern" movement. From the 1980s onwards, he exhibited his works all over the world: from Paris to Tokyo, via London and New York.
