First Period Worcester Fisherman Cream Jug
A nice Worcester porcelain sparrow beak cream jug decorated with the printed "fisherman & cormorant" / "pleasure boat" pattern, c.1775. Underglaze blue pseudo chinese "disguised" mark under the base.
It measures 9cm (3 1/2") high, 6.5cm (2 1/2") wide and 8.3cm (3 1/4") handle to spout.
Condition is very good, there are 2 small nicks to the very tip of the spout and a fine hairline running down one side of the spout. No restoration and minimal surface wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
