A fine sheraton style mahogany and inlaid side cabinet. The top having a wonderful fan inlaid swan neck pediment with a turned centre finial. The frieze below with inlaid rosettes between rectangular lines. The shaped shelf with double box line inlay with a bevelled edge mirror below. The base having a single drawer with applied mouldings, line inlay and particularly good brass handles. The glazed door opens to a shaped shelf interior the lower door with superb fielded panel inlaid with harebells, ribbons, swags and an urn. The lower tier having turned and fluted supports with inlaid corner brackets, the shelf with a double line of boxwood stringing. The stiles inlaid with satinwood ovals and graduated harebells with line inlays. The sides also with boxwood line inlay throughout and the whole standing on short turned legs. In excellent original condition, probably from the workshops of Edwards and Roberts.
