Fine Pearlware Leaf Shape Leeds Style Pickle Dish
A very fine quality late 18th century pearlware leaf shape dish with very detailed and crisply moulded surface decoration of leaves, stems and berries. A lovely dark blue Leeds style feathered colouring to the edge. A fine twisted clay handle adds extra detail and the dish is set on 3 pretty squat stalk shaped feet.
It measures 2.5cm (1") high, 14.3cm (5 5/8") long and 12.7cm (5") wide. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and very light surface wear, good and appropriate for age and use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
