Fine Pair 19th C Chinese Canton Vases
We are selling this wonderful pair of 19th Century Chinese Canton famille rose vases. Each one depicts family scenes and is of baluster form with a scalloped rim. Painted with four blossom panels and the necks applied with relief gilt gold twin handled shishi . The scenes are of ladies and subordinates before dignitaries inside the home and on the veranda. They are surrounded by borders which depict precious objects, fruiting branches and Buddhist emblems.
Measuring 16 inches in height and in overall very good condition. There is an old rim chip on one vase which can only be seen when you turn the vase upside down and a small hairline which is under the glaze. Please see all photos as they form part of description.
