A superb quality Victorian extending dining table. Constructed from fine figured solid mahogany, the oval top having a moulded edge with the original solid brass catches beneath and inset frieze with applied moulded edge. The extending mechanism in excellent working order and opens with the easiest of touches for the spare leaf to be inserted or removed. Standing on very good turned and fluted legs and retaining the original brass cup casters. Re-polished to a very high standard in our own workshops using traditional French polishing methods.
