A fine untouched Chippendale period Mahogany linen press, having superb colour and patina with original finish. The press is beautifully oak lined, with five slides and retains a full set of original locks, lacquered handles and escutcheons, the one original key works both the top cupboard lock along with all of the drawers locks. The cornice with dental mould decoration, the doors having an applied moulding. Raised on an unusual configuration of 6 short and one full length drawer all oak lined, the whole raised on shaped bracket feet. Of the finest quality with many construction elements typical of the Chippendale workshop.
