Fine Chamberlain Worcester Porcelain Vase c.1810
A very fine English porcelain pedestal vase attributed to Chamberlain's, of baluster shape with circular foot on square socle base. Deeply flared neck and twin green man / satyr masks to either side. A continuous frieze of superbly painted flowers in botanical style runs around the main body with an underglaze mazarine blue ground above and below, with lashings of ornate gilt decoration. Gilt rims, mask heads and foot on a black enamelled base. Unmarked, c.1810-1815.

It measures 20.3cm (8") high and 14cm (5 1/2") wide.
In very good condition with no damage, repair or restoration. Minor wear to the gilt on the mask faces, the foot and very slightly to the edge of the rim. The surface is very finely crazed from manufacture. The enamel is in excellent condition. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
