Fabulous Leeds Art Pottery Jardiniere c. 1890 Leeds Art Pottery Burmatofts Faience %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A stunning LEEDS ART POTTERY Jardiniere Stand and Planter dating from c.1890.

Standing an imposing 950mm high, the stand and planter are beautifully decorated with raised geometric, floral and foliate designs of the Art Noveau era, and finished in the superb faience glaze so typical of Leeds Art Pottery and Burmantofts.

Markings 'Leeds Art Pottery England 307' (stand), 'Leeds Art Pottery England 325' (planter).

Condition is excellent for 120 years of age. The usual fine age crazing in the glaze, one or two very minor nibbles. Two of the 'fans' at the top of the planter have been professionally and sympathetically restored.

A lovely example. Increasingly rare to find stand and planter still together,

Due to very heavy weight (~ 16kg), collection is preferred! Shipment is possible but likely be quite costly.

Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns Policy.
Returns are accepted within 7 days. A full refund will be given provided the item is received in the same condition as when sold. Buyer is responsible for return postage/shipping costs, appropriate packaging and insurance.
