Exceptional large French desk with brass inlay
This is a very good quality French late c19th mahogany and brass inlaid large kneehole desk with additional pull out slides either side for more surface space when required.
The desk is finished on all sides and also has a "modesty panel" so it can free stand in the centre of a room. Certainly a desk of good proportions, very much a useable daily desk size for a working office or home study.
Quality and condition is very good throughout, all 9 drawers run well, all have original working locks and keys, also with the secure drawer section too.
The desk does com apart for ease of delivery, no problem at all.
The three leather panels are all in excellent condition and finished with a gilt tooled edging.
I do have a glass top for this desk, though there are a couple of chips...it is available if required, free of charge!

There are two 13’’ or 30cm additional slides
The kneehole dimensions are: 23’’ or 58cm high x 23 3/4’’ or 60cm wide
