This is a handsome George II style bachelors chest of drawers with stunning burr elm figured grain which has the most fabulous colour and neat proportions, it measures only 76cms wide 81cms high and 40 cms deep. The chest of drawers is in immaculate condition with a nice colour and subtle antique patina. The chest has its original solid brass handles, with line inlay to the top surface and attractive sharp cockbeading to all the drawers. It is wonderfully finished with stunning figured burr elm, notably even to the back of the chest.
This super chest is a real gem in outstanding condition.
