This is a rare and visually stunning line and etching by Bernard Baron after Peter Paul Rubens. The etching was produced in London in 1724 and is part of a series of prints produced by Baron on the ‘ History of Achilles’ after Rubens. It is beautifully gothic and dark, which some of the photos do not do justice due to reflection. The print is housed in it’s original ebonized 18th Century frame. The print is 47cm x 40cm and the glazed frame is 53.5cm x 45.5cm

Condition:
The condition is good. There is toning and light staining to the edges.
