A rare original set of six Nottinghamshire area crinoline stretcher Windsor chairs presently in pleasing condition.
With elm seat, ash hoop and yew splat within finely proportioned chairs this set offer tremendous interest.
The 45cm (17.7") seat height is generous and the chairs are robust and suitable for daily use. The legs are unified by a crinoline stretcher which provides a stable base and further marks the chairs out as ones of quality.
This set will make a lovely addition to any setting. A wonderful example of country chair making.
