An original and extremely rare two tone yellow colourway Alphabet/ABC mug designed by Eric Ravilious. There are no chips cracks or hairlines and displays beautifully, but when viewed close up the mug does show some very fine all over light crazing, some staining to the base and base edge and a few light stains to the handle. Please take a close look at the photos as they form part of the description. Transfer printed and hand colour washed in 2 shades of yellow. Fully marked to the base with the pattern number in red dating the mug to 1937. The number is shared with a much rarer orange colourway.
