ENGLISH ART DECO COMMODE - CHEST OF DRAWERS
Exceptional quality and very rare Art Deco commode ( downstairs chest of drawers) produced in England in the early 1930’s in stunning burr walnut with Macassar ebony detailing to the handles, the proportions and form of this chest are perfect, it has twelve graduating drawers that all run smoothly the top three have locks but unfortunately no key. This commode has been very well looked after all of its life and very minimal restoration but has benefited from being fully polished by hand and wax finished.
