Empire style French king size painted bed. Sturdy construction and suitable for either English king size mattress (5' x 6'6") inside the rails or European king size (160cm x 200 cm) on top of the rails. We can supply quality bases and mattresses at both of these sizes.The bed has been professionally restored in our own workshops with side rails adapted to support modern length mattress and hand finished in Gauze paint by Little Greene paint company.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses.
