Elizabethan Handwritten in Latin and English Obligation Bond dated 24th February in the 32nd year of Queen Elizabeth (1590), given by Thomas Shawe of Netherrose in the parish of Wolferhamcote, husbandman (farmer) and his heirs, to John Webbe of the same place, husbandman for £40.00 in respect of a Bargain and Sale of a Croft or Close agreed by them.
Signed by Thomas Shawe with a Red Wax Seal. The document is written on both front and back.
Wolfehamcote, Northamptonshire is classed as a deserted medieval village. Today the only remains are the Church of St. Peter, the old vicarage, a cottage and a farmhouse.
