A fine Sheraton revival figured mahogany sideboard from the renown workshops of Edwards & Roberts. Of bow fronted form, the top having satinwood cross banding with boxwood and ebony lines. The front having 2 deep bow fronted and 1 shallow drawer all having wonderful inlaid floral swags, ribbons and drapes with further satinwood banding and cock beading. The kneehole with beautiful Sheraton fan inlays and this sideboard retains the original brass lion’s head handles with working locks and keys.The centre drawer centre drawer stamped Edwards & ROBERTS. The sides having satinwood banding between boxwood and ebony stringing and the whole raised on square tapering and inlaid legs with spade feet. Condition :- Very good.
