A small Edwardian Sheraton revival display cabinet with commemorative inlaid Prince of Wales Feathers celebrating Prince Edward’s (later Edward VIII before his abdication) investiture at Caernarvon Castle in 1911.
The moulded cornice having an arched centre with boxwood line inlay to the frieze. The concave side panels inlaid with typical Sheraton motifs of swags, ribbons and harebells. The single door having astragal glazing bars and opens to a shelved interior which has recently been relined. The whole stands on 6 square and tapering legs with further boxwood stringing.
