Edwardian Oak Roll Top Desk
A classic piece of Edwardian office antique furniture, this impressive and beautifully figured solid oak, roll top office desk features a large S-shaped tambour front, which easily slides open to reveal and multitude of drawers and compartments for stationery and pens. The desk sits upon a twin pedestal base, with panelled sides and an array of graduated drawers.
The desk has its original key, and conveniently breaks down into four individual pieces for ease of transportation and reassembly.
A substantial piece of office furniture, this desk offers a vast amount of storage space and would grace any study.
These desks fell out of favour in the 80s due to the size of computer screens, but since the advent of laptops and tablets, these desks have come back into fashion, and would be a great focal point for any period interior.
