A beautifully hand carved Edwardian solid oak monks bench.
Featuring a decorative up stand to rear which can be removed if required. The bench has an extremely ornate carved back, a large lift up seat, and matching panels to the front and sides. An extremely versatile and practical piece of antique furniture for any hallway. Ideal for storing boots, shoes etc, and would complement any period interior or country residence.
It is in lovely condition for its age, with a deep and rich chestnut colour.
