A handsome antique Edwardian oak headboard for a double bed dating from circa 1910. In a richly figured dark oak with panelled construction it features an over-sailing top rail supported by barley twist side columns, the central panel with carved interlocking arches. Originally part of a bedstead, now makes a wonderful headboard.

Solid and sturdy with good colour. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Holes to bottom of legs where original brackets would have been which have been filled with wax.
