An unusual slim Edwardian oak display stand or open bookcase/newspaper stand dating from circa 1905. With a shaped back featuring three open display shelves ideal for leaflets, books or newspapers. The base has two open bookshelves and is raised on arched feet. In a wonderfully warm coloured oak with good patina. Of small proportions so would work wonderfully in a hall or a where space is limited. This piece came from a church where it was used to display leaflets (the photo shows it displaying A4 sheets) but would work equally well in a hotel lobby for newspapers or as a shop display or simply as an open bookcase.
