Edwardian mahogany side cabinet c.1905. The fronts of the three drawers fold down on a patent mechanism to allow access to the contents, probably originally intended for sheet music but ideal for stationery, filing etc. With an attractively shaped gallery to stop things slipping off the top and a small two door cupboard below, also fitted for filing. Raised on neat little tapering legs. Good quality with inlaid and crossbanded detail and original gilded brass handles. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
