Useful Edwardian mahogany pedestal desk c.1910. 48″ x 25″ desk top with a teal blue leather writing surface and moulded edge over three drawers. Raised on twin pedestals each with three drawers of graduated depth. Original brass handles with pierced backplates. Solid mahogany sides and plinth, with castors below. Solid mahogany drawer linings. Note how the top overhangs the pedestals at the back to fit flush against a wall. Some minor wear to the finish, otherwise very good condition. Fitted with a new leather skiver, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
