A good quality and unusual figured mahogany folio chest. The rectangular top having a small upstand, moulded edge and rounded corners with a standard frieze drawer below. The 6 folio drawers with an unusual opening mechanism, pull the brass handles and the flame mahogany fronts pivot back into the chest as the open drawer comes forward. The whole in very good condition with fiddle back mahogany cross banding, ebony line inlay, reeded rounded corners, original brass handles and raised on Queen Anne style legs.
