A good quality antique Edwardian mahogany desk dating from circa 1910 by Denby & Spinks. In mellow well-figured mahogany it stands on elegant tapered legs culminating in spade feet with brass and ceramic casters. It has four capacious drawers, each with attractive brass handles above, each with a brass thread escutcheon and locks. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too large. In original condition with wear and marks to the top commensurate with age. With “Denby and Spinks Ltd House Furnishers Leeds” label to drawer.
